Bali Tourism Journal

An openly accessible, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality research at the intersection of tourism, culture, society, and law — with a special focus on the rich traditions of Bali and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

About the Journal

Bali Tourism Journal welcomes contributions that promote the exchange of ideas and rational discourse between journalists, practicing educators, and researchers worldwide. The journal publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, and scholarly essays exploring all dimensions of tourism, culture, communication, social science, traditional law, and law — including discovery, relationships, tensions, representations, conflicts, and impacts on society.

All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English, following established standards for scientific writing. Only material not previously published (in print or electronically) and not under consideration elsewhere — except abstracts in conference proceedings — will be considered. Initial presentation at a scientific meeting does not preclude publication.
